About our ownerOur dedicated owner Doug Ramirez has been a resident of Northern California for over 50 years, and a loving husband and father. Doug is passionate about his faith and our amazing country; immigrating from Central America as a child, he remembers the day he was sworn in as a citizen and how grateful he felt. Since 1984, he has spent a majority of his adult life as a business owner and entrepreneur; always seeking new ways to improve the companies he previously owned and our amazing company he owns now. Doug is present on every job site, both leading his employees and working hands-on himself, and believes in bringing his customers the best experience and flooring outcome.

Who We Are |
Our team is just as dedicated to customer experience and to each job as our owner is. Doug is often on a job site with his trusted and longest employee, Felipe Gonzales. Felipe moves fast and works efficiently with our floor grinding machines, paying close attention to detail. Our other team members consist of Doug's loving wife and daughter, who help manage office administration and marketing.

Our History |
In 2009, after realizing there were very few contractors willing to go through the hassle of removing old flooring in the Central Valley, Doug took the opportunity to start Bare Knuckle Floor Demolition. With severals decades of knowledge and previous experience in the flooring industry, making the decision to take on such difficult processes was a simple one. After a lot of trial and error, testing different equipment, and experimenting with the process, we believe that Bare Knuckle Floor Demolition has one of the best systems available in the industry today. We pride ourselves on our ability to maintain a clean and dust-free environment while finishing each job in a quick and above-parr manner. Since our start in the Central Valley, we have expanded into Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin, and are excited to now be in Fremont.
